According to an article by Chris Church in Stars and Stripes published January 26, 2016:

The Bahrain International Airshow drew more exhibitors and visitors and resulted in more orders than the 2014 show, officials said after the thee-day event concluded.

Participation in the biennial air show has increased 60 percent since the first show in 2010, organizers said in a news release issued after the show ended Saturday.

The show resulted in orders valued at $9 billion, as more than 135 comanies took part — more than in any previous year.

Companies and delegations from around the world participated, including the U.S. military, which was represented with aircraft from all four service branches.

Among aircraft on display were an MH-60S Seahawk, a CH-47 Chinook, an MV-22 Osprey, an AV-8 Harrier, an F/A-18 Super Hornet, and an F-15E Strike Eagle.

There also was a short flight demonstration of the F-22 Raptor.
