2013-06-07 Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey pilots, along with maintenance personnel received a tour from Japanese sailors on their ships during Dawn Blitz 2013 at Naval Base San Diego, June 6.
The tour was in preparation for the upcoming Osprey landings aboard the Japanese vessels June 14.
Dawn Blitz2013 is one of a series of amphibious training events on both coasts of the U.S. that take place annually.
Exercises like Dawn Blitz provide realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
