06/07/2014: Aircrew with the 968th Expeditionary Airborne Air Control Squadron, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing flew the E-3 Sentry AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) over Afghanistan on April 5, 2014 to provide airborne surveillance, command, control, and communications functions to aerial forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
