US Army and Afghan Forces Conduct a Joint Patrol

This slide shows gives us a sense of the US Army working with the Afghan forces in shaping a common security capability.

  • The seventh photo shows an Afghan National Army soldier pulling security while waiting for a CH-47 Chinook rotary wing aircraft to land and board his patrol into it near the village of Akbar Kheyl.
